Guide: Pairing Remotes
How to pair the standard M-04 remote to the Level 4 control board.
*WARNING: ANY WORK CARRIED OUT INVOLVING ELECTRICITY SHOULD BE DISCUSSED WITH AN ELECTRICIAN*

Requirements

Remotes to be paired
-
Control box with Level 4 or higher control board

Cross-Head/Phillips/Pozi Drive Screwdriver
Step 1
Cover Removal
Take off front cover of control box

Unscrew 3 x M3 self tapping screws

Gently pull the front cover off towards you
Step 2
Programming: Functions
For Normal Operational Control
Select the correct function

Ensure the screen is showing two dashes (- -)
-
Quick press the top button until R1 is found.
For Pedestrian Button Programming
Select the correct function

Ensure the screen is showing two dashes (- -)

Quick press the top button until R3 is found.
Step 3
Programming: Pairing
Pair the Remote

Once you have found your required function wait for it to swap to show three horizontal dashes

On the new remote hold the button down you wish to pair

Wait for the screen to show a red dot as well as the three dashes

Whilst still holding the remote button press the third button down on the control board (Labelled C).

When a number appears release Everything
Step 4
Check Pairing
Test if the pairing was successful

Make sure R1 or R3 is still selected on the board with the three dashes shown.

Press the button on the remote you just paired.

If a number appears the pairing was successful
Step 5
Exit Functions
Return the board to Standby

Quick Press the top button on the control board until two dashes
appear (- -).
Step 6
Cover Replacement
Replace cover
-
Gently replace box front cover avoiding trapping any wires or allowing any gaps in the seal.

Refit 3 x M3 self tapping screws
